Wisdom Dental design the content and delivery process of all training programmes to ensure that the learner's needs are taken into consideration. Monthly reviews as well as quarterly reviews are carried out in employment and educational issues. These are carried out to ensure that learners are encouraged to participate equally and are receiving the support they require. A variety of learning aids and resources are made available to our learners that will make their learning experience with Wisdom Dental an enjoyable one.

Our Staff

We don't have a large turnover of staff like some establishments!. All our staff are committed to ensuring that students fulfill their potential. We have tutors with over 15 years of clinical experience, combined with managerial experience as well as qualified dentists. Tutors also have postgraduate certificates, further certificates in teaching. We have a qualified ESOL tutor who will assist students if English is not their first language, so that any learning issues are resolved promptly. An educational psychologist is available to assess and help students with learning disabilities, and much more.

The Diploma Certificate in Dental Nursing

By successfully passing the Certificate in Dental Nursing you will be able to hold the title “RDN” – Registered Dental Nurse.By becoming a qualified dental nurse you will be able to enjoy such benefits as:

Introduction to dental nursing course

Are you thinking of becoming a dental nurse, but are not quite sure if it is a definite career move for you? Or are you returning back to dental nursing after a long absence? This one day course will provide a realistic taste of both the theoretical and practical aspects that are involved in becoming a dental nurse. There is no formal examination at the end of this course. If students then feel that this is a career move for them after this one day course, Wisdom Dental will give the student the opportunity to achieve their career by placing them onto the National Certificate. There is a small course fee for this one day course.

The Postgraduate Course in Oral Health

The OHE modules consists of:

Delivering oral health messages, communication, implementation of oral health education, oral diseases and prevention, dental structures, physiology and anatomy, society and oral health

•  6 month part time course

•  2 intakes per year for the part time programme. (april/sept)

•  Weekend or evening classes available

•  Consists of a written exam & you will also need to undertake a Teaching Observation and a Case study (project.)

•  Exam are held every March & September
